As you know, we on the Eastside have OFTEN been treated like Red-Headed Children. Daily we must fight alongside Our Present Warrior. Now we seek new Hero! We believe Mary Kelleher to be that Soldier. She fought for us like a Warrior on the Waterboard.

Mary Kelleher is the ONLY candidate for Council District 5. Her years on the Tarrant Regional Water Board were stressful and hard, but her strength and perseverance forced changes which were long overdue in that organization which had been hidden from view for a very long time. That same strength and tenacity will serve the citizens of Fort Worth well when Mary is a part of our City Council. She will ask those questions which need to be asked, she will work well with the other members of the council so she can assemble the votes needed to address issues in District 5. I have known Mary for almost 17 years. I have worked alongside her in her efforts to bring awareness to the TRWD and other issues that face our communities. I have also volunteered to help her in her campaign to win her seat on the TRWD so I know first hand of her character and dedication. I have never met someone so driven and focused to push our city leaders to make the changes needed, and to hold those in elected positions accountable for their decisions. She has been a tireless, selfless advocate for her community and has immersed herself into being a person to offer ideas and solutions to some of our biggest problems. She's not running for city council for her personal interests, she's running for those in her district and all of Fort Worth. She will continue to listen to her community and their needs and, once she's elected, to the needs of her constituents.
